The lucuma is a legendary fruit from Peru, eaten and cherished for thousands of years. Fast growing and hardy tree down to the low 20s. The fruits are incredibly rich and sticky sweet. I call it cookie dough fruit sometimes. It's good eaten fresh and also makes insane deserts and drinks. I personally am a huge fan of lucuma icecream.
