Fuzzy cerrado (Psidium sp.) myrtaceae

from $10.00

This wild unidentified guava species was originally collected in the diverse savannas of Brazil. The plant has a dwarf habit and is quick to fruit in just 3 years. The leaves and stems are covered in a dense fine red fur making the plant very soft to the touch. The flavor is very creamy and sweet/ tart. It's very refreshing to eat.
