Native to the Peruvian Andes above the frost zone. This small but potently flavored berry is what i consider the best tasting of the jaltomata species I’ve tried. Cream and mandarins i would describe it. Small bush produces abundant crops of orange fruits. Plants perennial to at least lower zone 9, possibly colder.
