This subtropical icecream bean from Chipas is large and fleshy. Very juicy, sweet and more like actual icecream them any other inga I have tried. With large glossy leaves the trees gets medium- tall height. Hardy to around freezing but should have some protection when young. A very nice addition to any rare fruit orchard or garden. I’ve actually never seen it in cultivation but only heard mention of just one growing in California.
