Possibly the largest fruits in the butia genus, with an excellent flesh to seed ratio. Very sweet fruity and juicy. Almost like pinapple but sweeter. These palms grow and fruit fast at around five years. The first flowers can emerge when the tree is just 2 or 3 feet tall.
