Another “plum” that has no relation to the family prunus, aptly named by British explorers. The taste is sweet, juicy and reminiscent or apple sauce. Tree is medium to small height. Fruiting can be prolific, pruducing huge amounts of fruits. The new growth is colorful and attractive.
