These particular genetics were found wild in the forests of South Florida, possibly making it hardier then other acanthocereus locales. Plants grow somewhat upright, they can climb but also support themselves. Fruits are very sweet and rich with a concentrated watermelon taste. Flowers are very fragrant and fill the night with perfume. These plants grow very fast and can produce in a couple years from seed.
