As cactus do it is highly likely that you will get crested or mutant forms from the seeds of this specimen. It is well documented that mutant cactus pass on their unique traits to their offspring with as much as 50% of the seedlings expressing abnormalities.

This is pitaya dulce  it’s also a great cactus and very delicious fruit.
