Cyphomandra beataceae. Tree tomato, tomate de arbol or tamarillo. These fruits are closely related to the common tomato but have a sweeter taste likened to passionfruit and guava. they grow rapidly into a 10-15 foot tree. This peach orange variety was collected in the high mountains of peru.
