Small shrub to medium tree. The strawberry guava is an indispensable tree for any food forest or home garden. These plants are very attractive with their glossy leaves which turn red an orange in colder months. This species is cold hardy to at least 20 degrees. The fruits are quite tasty, sweet and slightly tart. Great for eating fresh and making delicious juices.
